Miss Chhattisgarh India 2020 Winner
Asmita became Miss Rajdhani 2019 in her first attempt in state pageant "Mr and Miss Icon Chhattisgarh 2019" by A R Events, which was held in December 2019 in Raipur, C.G. She then, became state pageant Winner Miss Chhattisgarh India 2020 in "Mr and Miss Chhattisgarh India 2020", also in her first attempt. This pageant was held in January 2020 by Colors Productions in Raipur, C.G. She was also titled "Miss Best Hair" in this pageant. Both pageants had three fashion ramp-walk modeling rounds, plus talent round, fitness/task round, and grooming sessions.
Model
Asmita has been modeling since 2020, after her pageant wins. She has done several photoshoots with a variety of photographers. For a short period of time, she has been the Brand Ambassador of Click Entertainment which is a company based in Raipur, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
Visual Artist
Asmita has been drawing and painting since she was in kindergarten. She has been taught by Mr. Manoj Poddar, since childhood. She holds a "Fine Art Appreciation Course - Painting" diploma from Khairagarh University, Chhattisgarh, India. She has made more than 150 realistic drawings, over 70 realistic portraits, and a huge number of modern art paintings. Her recent digital media art is of surreal and psychedelic imagery, with topics such as self evolution, spiritual growth, and trance-meditative (theta & delta) state of mind.
Content Creator & Makeup Educator
Asmita began making YouTube videos in July 2016. She has made a variety of videos. Her work includes a variety of content; from makeup & fashion tutorials to skin/hair care and shopping hauls.
Asmita taught herself makeup in 2013 and practised for three years before becoming an educator. She organized online grooming sessions for upcoming talents in 2020.
Other interests
Asmita has taught herself belly dancing.
She was offered lead role in three films by Sundarani Productions, Chholywood which she turned down to complete her education at the time.
She loves animals, and hence turned vegetarian in 2018 and then vegan in 2020.
She likes motivational, self-improvement, spiritual books as she is spiritual.
She believes in teaching oneself, independently. She has taught herself makeup, fashion, belly dancing, Spanish language, editing, film-making and much more. For her, self teaching is important. She promotes self love, anti-bullying, self image development, self esteem & confidence development.
Early Life & Education
Asmita was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and brought up in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She initially aspired to be a physician and went to D Y Patil School of Medicine, Mumbai, Maharashtra; and got an MBBS degree.
